Buy My Wardrobe Birmingham

Over the last 6 months or so, I've become increasingly aware, and proud of, the burgeoning fashion scene in Birmingham. I was therefore pretty excited to find that Buy My Wardrobe, an event that has previously been held in London, is coming to Brum!

I'm a big fan of wardrobe weeding, and a massive fan of a bargain, so I can't wait to attend, hopefully I'll see some of you there! Here are all the details:

On Saturday 14^th April, twenty stylish ladies will throw open the doors to their enviable wardrobes and sell off their designer cast offs at BuyMyWardrobe Birmingham, which will be held at Nuvo, Brindleyplace.

The BuyMyWardrobe events see groups of carefully selected uber-fashionistas, gathering to sell the unwanted contents of their designer wardrobes to discerning members of the public. The events are far from jumble sales, held in upmarket locations they open with a VIP Champagne pre-view hour where ticket holders get to beat the crowds and bag the bargains. Sellers range from fashion industry insiders, ladies who lunch and high flying professionals, all with stylish designer wardrobes to die for.

 BuyMyWardrobe Birmingham will open at noon with a VIP Champagne preview hour. Tickets are now on sale and will be available on a first come first served basis.

 Beth Goodram, shortlisted for the Marie Claire style blogger of the year, will be on hand to offer 30-minute shopping sessions and styling advice to ladies for just £20 a session – the perfect solution for anyone wanting a new look and to shake up their wardrobe. And to turn the BuyMyWardrobe Birmingham event into the ultimate girls’ day out, Nuvo will also be serving a sophisticated afternoon tea for just £14 a head, comprising of speciality teas and coffees, freshly-made free-range sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam, and a selection of mini pastries and tartlets.
